Orphan Puppies don't go hungry here!

Orphans no more!

Volunteers of the Humane League of Lake Lanier have been feeding these tiny bundles of joy every few hours day and night since the mother was tragically killed in her own yard. A driver swerved to miss a 4 wheeler entering the road and drove up in the yard of the dog, hitting her.

She left behind 6 two week old babies that needed immediate help. They have to be fed every couple of hours around the clock. Their weights and intake must be carefully monitored. Cuddle time with the surrogate mommy is essential too.

Most of our volunteers and foster parents work full-time jobs outside of their work with rescue. We appreciate the free time and sleep they sacrifice caring for the foster pups. We also appreciate volunteers who can care for the pups for 1-2 nights at a time as relief to the other foster homes.

If you would like to share in the joy of giving life a second chance to these deserving bundles of joy, please Contact Us.

We always have a pet needing your help or a foster home needing your assistance! If you can't help with time, please consider a donation. Replacement nursing food is costly, and we think worth it!

Thank you!
